About Aberdare Trefoil Guild

Trefoil Guild  is the non-uniformed part of the Guide Movement which brings together people with an interest in Guiding for fun and friendship.

ABERDARE GUILD is a small Guild and most of our Guild Members have been members of GUIDING in a variety of roles for many years in the Cynon Valley.

Our County Guild is made up of members from 5 Guilds – Aberdare, Bridgend, Pontyclun, Pontypridd and Porthcawl. We come under the TREFOIL GUILD (Wales/Cymru.)

What are the aims

• To keep alive among members the spirit of the Guide/Scout Promise and Law.
• To carry that spirit into the communities in which members live and work.
• To give practical, financial and moral support to Guiding and Scouting.
